Hi guys , how are you doing today ? I hope you are all doing well and today I want to share with a little in depth blogpost about a “new “makeup product I purchased last month . As I have already told you in my wishlist blogpost , ,I have always wanted to try some powders product.

Since I am all about the most glow look I can achieve ,and I am absolutely terrified of anything that said Matt on the label ,I have never tried any kind of powder product.

Powders to me have always been some sort of mattering and blurring tricks that make your skin and complexion look wonderful at the cost of making you look so old and dusty.

After going to the moon and discover insulin the mankind also has made some progress in the makeup department I guess, which made me want to try some powders too.

Powders has not to be dry and flecky or cakey : they can be mattefyng or blurring without taking away the glow and that’s exactly what this product does.

I can be wrong so don’t quote me on that ,but Hourglass ambient powder palette is probably the first makeup product that really changed the game in terms of powders and setting powders. It has completely innovate the World of makeup by bringing in new formulas and technology and you can clearly see the results.

After many years of it being on the market and being praised by basically everybody and their dogs ,I myself the beauty guru if dreams finally decided to try it and talk about after anything and everything that could ever possibly be said has already been said . Thank me later .

On the website it said to dust Dim Light all over the complexion but focus on the center of the face to soften imperfections. Add Radiant Light as a contour under the cheekbones, on the temples and on either side of the bridge of the nose. Finish off with a light dusting of Incandescent Light on the tops of the cheekbones, under the brow, on the center of the eyelids, the bridge of the nose and the cupid’s bow to brighten the complexion.

It is formulated without parabens ,fragrance ,talc ,nanoparticles ,gluten and it is not tested on animals, as they are one of the first cruelty free brand.

Ambient Lighting Powder utilize Photoluminescent Technology to filter out harsh light and refine the appearance of the complexion. Each of these high-tech, soft-focus finishing powders recreate an exquisitely flattering light source. The powders can be applied individually or layered to imbue skin with a multidimensional glow.

The most amazing thing about this product is first of all the packaging and how it is designed ,immaculate and ergonomic ,beautiful and simple. Not to be too distracted by it ,but if the packaging is 10 out of 10 ,the formula and the texture is incredible too. It is so finely mild and light like air ,you can’t feel nothing on your fingertips but the most thin buttery layer of creamy gold.

The way I love to apply it is with a fluffy brush and focusing it under my eye to set the concealer and use ,as it said on the website ,as an highlighter on precise zone of the face to really create the most subtle tridimensional look ,playing with light and shadows . It is not about creating harsh shadows or strictly lines and areas ,no no no : it is all about create a soft dim glow . Nothing is too defined or too restricted . Everything is soft ,diffuse and ethereal .

The setting powder sets the under eye area without taking the juice and the hydration out if that area: the thin lines are blurred and hidden.

Powders products can be scary and intimidating but starting with this product which is basically the Lamborghini of the powders ,really made me appreciate this all new world and also is making me want to try new powders and see how they work on my skin .

The soft blurred effects with a luminous glance from within is the best features of this wonderful product.

If you like me , are a little bit scared ,I would 100 % recommend this little gem and you can thank me later !

Anyway ,let me know if you have tried this product which you all already probably have and let me know what you think about it .

Stay safe and I will see you soon folks!
