Step 2 : essence / serum
Hi guys! How are you doing today? Hope you are doing great and I hope you are having a great time.
Today I want to share with you another blogpost about my skin-care routine, in particular about the second most important step : serum.
Before I jump into talking about serum and my favorite serum of the moment , I quickly wanna mention one step in the middle that I’m just trying to figure it out : essence.
If you are like me and want ALL THE HYDRATION essence seems to be a necessary step. Basically it serves as a canvas on wich you can layer your products over and obtain the best results. I must be honest to you guys I’m not so sure about it, or maybe I just have to find an essence that I like that much yet. But basically what I’m trying to say is that after I exfoliate I always put a serum on, these days I’m trying a few essence but none of them I’m quiet enjoying enough to suggest it to you.
My favorite serum by far is the drink elephant one.
The best thing about this serum is that yes its a bit pricey but you need the smallest amount to achieve the best results. To be specific, the less you use the best it works.
Hyaluronic acid is a big molecule that can grip a lots of water molecules and delivers it to our skin. To put it in a nutshell, it’s the best to hydrate your skin and it acts like a glass of water for you skin cells. The results are in the long term visible and constant. The texture of this serum is light, no scented and it absorbed in the skin super quickly.
The price tag is high but for a reason.
If you are not in the market for such an expensive treat I can surely recommend the ordinary hyaluronic serum.
I just want to say guys, the ordinary is the most innovative and cool brand that delivers high quality skin care products at a great price. Highly recommend that.
Hyaluronic acid is, to me, a necessary ingredient, because I have dehydrated skin so I need to layer as many hydrate products as possible to keep my complexion luminous and less doll. Also guys, keep in mind that the only anti-aging that work is hydration. Our skin cell need a lots of water and that’s the only thing that can give them elasticity and health.
Anyway, that is it for today guys, I’ll see you soon!
